Introduction:
Kaios does not allow the user to install any app directly from the phone like in andriod doue to its monitization purpose. But kaios allow you to make apps and test them on your any kaios phone. There are main two ways to test your app on kaios phone:
- Developer mod
- Using kaios store
Developer mod
In developer mod a user requires a pc and a kaios device to test the app. First of all user should have to enter a ussd code to get developer menu on supported device. Many of the kaios devices does not support developer menu by ussd code. They requires a special process to swith on developer mod. After switching on the developer mod user requires older version of Mozilla firefox and adb tools. After connecting the kaios device to the PC by data cable use can easily install any app in the phone.
Using kaios store
This is the easiest method to test kaios apps on any device except jio phone. In this process user shoul require a kaios plus account. User must have to upload submit app on the kaios plus portal. After that select the app to be test and go to Version section. In version section you will find a test device option, click on it and paste the imei of the kaios device on which you want to test the app the simply submit imei as shown in the screenshoots given below. After 5 to 10 minutes You will find that app in the kaios store of that device.
